“Who are you?” — Aria finds a sword pointed at her by Fenrir, the emperor famed for his cold cruelty.
Wait… isn’t this the wedding-night scene where she gets killed off right at the beginning of the story?! The shocking scene is from a novel I once read. —Have I become that Aria?
Among the memories flooding into her mind, she sees it: scorned as “that accursed black-haired girl,” treated in way worlds apart from her younger sister. A doll-like expression, her heart long since shut away.
“If I get killed like this, it’s far too tragic for both Aria and me!”
Casting off a past steeped in malice, she bravely lifts her gaze and steps forward. That unwavering resolve begins to ignite a flame within the frozen heart of the so-called “Cold-Blooded Emperor.” A “substitute bride” who slowly unravels the lonely king’s guarded heart. A girl who was never meant to be loved— now finds herself dyed in true love.
