honestly despite making the fl so smart they still messed up with the ml… For someone who wants to be emperorfor what i’m guessing is a good reason, he didn’t hesitate much to enslave a woman through that spell (even if escaped prisoner) & even lied to her, then used that cliché rich man moment to impress us… Even if in the future they develop feelings it’ll never change the fact that he once perceived her as a property rather than human being with her own free will.
