From what I remember from reading the novel, all of his shadows that were not monsters from the gates gonna disappear when he used the chalice to turned back time.
it was said by the lords before he turned back time any of the shadows that are alive after he turns back time will perish so basically all the human shadows are gone he only has monsters now
