It seems he really like mc. So what if that master did tell Kesha how to make his hyung the number 1 assassin and the first thing to do that is to kill MCs Family, “the obstacles” of his progress. Then the murder of her family became the fuel for mc to challenge the master which he very welcome just to produce the perfect assassin.
Also, MC told Kesha to survive and go far away, I hope it’s not a foreshadow for what is to come if ever Kesha is really involved.
Or……… It’s a double sword incident, where Kesha took part with the master’s plan to make Mc the number 1 assassin but also was paid by other party to make the assassin association a mess with internal conflicts. (Oh my writer side is activating.)
Also if ever all what I said is true above there, then MC will truly be a terrific #1 assassin, because he would be sad and ranged by his family’s death, and his master and friend’s betrayal. So he won’t have any feelings, not trust others.
