I feel like the beginning of the story was very good. Liliana handled problems like a ✨boss✨
But now?? Why is she handling things so poorly? Where did the genius strategist from the beginning go? ? Why are they going in so many circles. Story should have ended when she exposed her ex-husband and sister of their infidelity instead of forcing a new plot point regarding the oracle.
Regarding the poisoning attempt, if even the emperor saw the queen smilling while making soup from far away, why can’t everyone else see her ?. Why did no one suspect how suspicious it was, her personality is very shit and that’s a widely known fact(to both the reader and the people in the story). That girl is so stupid how did she get away with all her murder attempts ?.
This is what happens when you try to prolong a story. It becomes nonsense and characters start to lose their personalities. It’s very inconsistent and frustrating to read.
