I hate how the author is trying to make this seem cute. She’s uncomfortable, she doesn’t like him, she doesn’t want to be involved with him. And he doesn’t respect her, he doesn’t care about what she wants. He only cares about what he wants and how to get it. “No” doesn’t mean no to him, in his twisted mind it means “try harder” and that’s just awful
