Yeah, I also believe that he was the reason why dimensions keeps opening, Remember when Jia said people keeps missing in her worlds and there are also burned corpses? maybe he wants to go back to his place but instead he sends Jia to a different world and he was stuck in Jia’s. And he needs to start another round of sacrifices to open the dimension to his world, but the sacrifices are happening in FL&ML’s world because Jia was send there. Just my theory.
