ngl what he did was very hurtful but ofc i understand your pain knowing the wife you love cheated and the daughter you wanted was another man’s child from your own wife and the daughter you had was very different from the two of you and she also had different magical power when you are land and your wife was ordinary while your daughter was born as a water magician and she has same magic as the cheated man but im the end it was hurtful to hear as a young child when parents said they weren’t the child of their parents and ignore them like they didn’t exist, though you knew she was precious you didn’t care anything abt her even if she was sick which was a little inhuman for a child her age whom you raised since she was born and given love and care to suddenly bc like that it was very traumatic though you though you needed time to heal and be back to normal you didn’t think abt how the child’s wounds was if the magician stated that a child can be born independent than their parents power would you not believe she was your child in the end?and when you made up your mind to confront everything and love her like before give her everything she was already a broken child who didn’t get healed but was wounded which was very traumatizing
