In his past life, although too weak to protect his home when it counted, out of grave determination Nie Li became the strongest Demon Spiritist and stood at the pinnacle of the martial world. However, he lost his life during the battle with the Sage Emperor and six deity-ranked beasts.
His soul was then brought back to when he was still 13 years old. Although he’s the weakest in his class with the lowest talent, having only a red soul realm and a weak one at that, with the aid of the vast knowledge which he accumulated from his previous life, he decided to train faster than anyone could expect. He also decided to help those who died nobly in his previous life to train faster as well.
He aims to protect the city from the coming future of being devastated by demon beasts and the previous fate of ending up destroyed. He aims to protect his lover, friends, family and fellow citizens who died in the beast assault or its aftermath. And he aims to destroy the so-called Sacred family who arrogantly abandoned their duty and betrayed the city in his past life.

prob bc there are a lot gold and a few black gold beasts that are killed. The red monkeys were max silver, also the amount is almost a million(it said that they took 1/10th when there were 100k killed

Oh, the “spiritual beast” in white orchid city that had formed intelligence or evolved or whatever in chapter 57 was said to already have a beast spirit. Is that not what “unlocking spiritual wisdom” means? They are just saying the opposite now of what they did before. It may be because its not mc saying it, but that should have been very easy to figure out. The demons beasts that are smarter or higher level should have a higher chance to drop souls, right? So wait for them to grow and compare. It shouldn’t be THAT hard to keep a record.

I thought demon beasts were “stronger” that cultivators, but intelligence, tools, and tactics are a human’s main weapons. If the Snow Wind God can hold off 3 legend beasts simultaneously, that means that Gui Sha is stronger than 3 legend rank demon beasts… If that were the case, why hasn’t he just taken over the city by now?
None of this makes sense. I’ve said this before, but if one of the “elders” can overpower one of the secret trump cards alone, why do they bother hiding? There is one other person at least on par with him, and then their leader on top of that. How does Glory City still exist?

We just watched “snow”(not earth or metal) beasts climb up a vertical stone wall tens of meters high in seconds, and here he is saying that a cliff is keeping demon beasts at bay? I find that… unlikely. Unless the cliff walls are actually super hardened stone and mineral that cant be pierced with claws. I can imagine anything that can fly as he just mentioned, or anything with earth relations would find no problem climbing cliffs made of stone.
