I feel bad for both of them tbh. He’s suffering now because of this destiny, and she suffered beforehand.
We don’t know exactly what happened between him and her family yet so I’m withholding judgement on that, but we can already see that being a part from her made him crazy, and being with her made him blind to everything but her. She possibly made a comment about hating them, as she used to think she did, and he thought it would make her happy to be rid of them.
In their past life he was just ignorant and thought his love and attention was enough for her, without seeing how she was treated behind the scenes. He never looked harder and she never spoke up so their first relationship was doomed. Knowing he’s the ML even in this life I’d like to see his growth.
