I noticed that when she said “I find many friends here.” The face of the lady with long black hair (witch) is not reviled. I think because she (witch) knew the ware abouts of her daughter and might be a spy from that priest from the capital (the red robe priest who appearance when the evil queen request to make prayers for her son.).
Might be a spoiler so don’t read. Just my speculation.
I also do believe that MC have a strong power that is why that bad man wanted to bury her alive. And whatever evil is lurking in this world is part of what happened to her. I suspect that there is a group of evil people who wants to revive some evil existence by sacrificing many lives by crating a monster (like what the queen did to a priest in Axia) to kill people and to make sacrifices, and those sacrifices (human life) should have experience tremendous grief and anger. I suspect that the father of the FL is a member of that evil people and he was the reason why there was a plague, by that, killing her husband and taking her daughter will bring enormous despair and sadness to FL, so once they sacrifice her life, she would be perfect for the evil.
I also believe that if her daughter is still alive, she is being used as a spare to be use by that evil group.
So far I suspect that the red robe priest is one of the key people in that evil group who infiltrate the church so that he can have access to the kingdom while not being detected of what he’s doing. He was also the one who gave the evil queen aid to do evil stuff like what she did to the priest in Axia and she and the red robe priest might have given the king his illness.
So far, I also believe that some nobles are part of that evil group.
