He had run out criminals and was close to snapping due to the curse and so (original) Noel pushed him over the edge. He then killed Leah not recognizing her. Noel explained it early. Although it would be a really shitty story in my book
I agree with black haired Duke like I understand our blondie and leah being related but that white haired thing no, they literally have nothing in common apart from the eye color.
