isnt this empress without virtues? anyways the ML is a dick but he gets the best character development ..FL is strong af.. they have an enemy to lovers relationship..ML is polygamous ..(OWD but no cheating) he does become monogamous for the FL in an extreme way. id recommend it tbh.

tho i kinda wanted something to happen between her and her cousin to even out with his 100000 women he had. (but he has some huge character development..from i’ll be sleeping with another woman on the wedding night to taking drugs to making him have an Erectile dysfunction so he would avoid sleeping with other women) (also he does not really make the other concubines miserable he was always fair , and they thought he became impotent..he later gave them freedom and titles to not bind them..he gave them the rights to choose)

I’ve tolerated it since the story is my favorite, but it keeps jumping scene, cut scenes and the art becomes like a gag. It makes the story a bit comical instead of serious atmosphere like the novel. 😣
