is this the first novel/manhua of this genre you ever read? if so, I get your outrage, but 90% of the stories of this genre are like this, all the “righteous” sects are evil motherfuckers who kill and rape without batting an eye, drug people, frame others, steal, con, entrap anyone for their own gain.
sometimes I wonder if this actually reflects, albeit overly exaggerated, the actual mindset of the Korean/Chinese society, as a form of critic of sorts?
