I feared this, at first small changes were not a problem to the story, while they did indeed take away a lot of flavours and in some cases, those changes took away very important and meaningful parts of the story, the problem is that as the author allow the ridiculously incompetent people adapting the story into the manhua, they get emboldened and slowly change more and more the story, it eventually could just “turn into a whole different story”, while this hasn’t happened, the process in which Yun Che goes to the God’s Realm is SO ENTIRELY DIFFERENT that it hurts, and here is where you can see that what I said, “they are so emboldened now” that they even change stuff like this.
