While it is believable that Rudia’s mother could have been a maid, there are also too many irregularities. I believe Rudia’s mother was a blood descendant of Caribdis, hence the yellow eyes the same as Caribdis. Rudia has the blood of the Goddess Caribdis coursing through her veins. That is what is making her so powerful.
