Like I get it his naivety is annoying, and it’s fine to hate his last self for it, but right now he’s a child who doesn’t know any better. He doesn’t have the past life knowledge or adult way of thinking to to combat that naivety. Children can be smart, but a lot of the times it’s because they’ve been forced to become that way because of circumstance.

Edit since all of you are idiots: he is aware of everything that MC had been through and all the shits their father had done even in their first life AND EVEN after growing up.
