Definetely a frustrating story. I was hoping some positive vibe mixed in with negative but there is none. Romance is dead, FL feels always awkward, same for ML… good story but just constant dread. Even the miscommunication causes dread nothing more, I like trauma stories at times but this is just plain frustrating. Drop for me, at min would be nice if they could speak to each other. This nonstop monotonous mood and expression is boring. Re:Zero and Shield hero are great examples how to insert a bit of happiness (of mood and expression) to break the negativity to prevent boredom for the reader.

Yup, wanted to check one more chap but this ending proves my assumption. The author stacks negative progression without remorse, doesn’t try to work the ebb and flow of natural roller coaster of feelings for a good story. I really recommend reading Re:zero to anyone who likes trauma story but with a good roller coaster feel and flow not just slam slam negative events or feel(s).
