   While I understand it’s not her fault that her mom exchanged both girls, I think she should be having a bit of sympathy toward a woman who lost her child because of her mom and shouldn’t expect love from a woman who lost her child in such manners. It looks like the writer doesn’t understand motherhood well in an attempt to show the mom as evil for wanting her real daughter. The fl is extremely self centered. I don’t know how we r expected to root for her. Not sure I will care for this story.

      The stepmother is the biggest whore of all times, she annoys me to death like seriously wtf is wrong with her i would understand if the mc was a lazy shithole doin n’thin or smthin but like she did so much for their shitty yttri family still her efforts were not accountable or recognised and was sold off to the crown prince despite doing so much and like they seriously think that her douche bag of a sister would be able to replace her place with some tuitions??.. I seriously wish that whore of a stepmother should be burned alive like really?

         I actually have a different opinion. The fl knew that she wasn’t her mothers real daughter as she overheard it, however the fl tried her best to earn her mothers love but instead she was abused, thrown into a dark room, and yelled at for every tiny mistake. I think the mother is in the wrong. If she had known the fl wasn’t her daughter, why didn’t she look for her real daughter? Why did she leave the fl to wish for her real daughter to come back and live in anxiety of being replaced and thrown away the next day. Also, she plans on completely taking everything the fl has worked so hard for and give it to her real daughter. She plans to switch them and force the fl to get married off without her consent. She literally forced the fl to say things she doesn’t want to do she can justify her actions. She’s messed up in the head even if her daughter was taken away. Also, I understand the fl is a b*stard child but she out all the blame on a child barely 7-9 years old instead of the father that cheated on her. I get what you said is your opinion but I just wanted to say things from my view.

      I respectfully disagree, self-centred? She has every right to look out for herself. And the fl is sympathetic towards the mother. And how the writer handled the motherhood aspect of her character is actually well done. Parents don’t think things through when it comes to their children, and oftentimes come off looking like self centred people, even through they’re thinking about their children.

      The mother is a victim sure, but she MADE herself into the villain. Helga hadn’t done anything wrong, and she could have chosen to simply ignore her. Instead her mother purposefully chose to be terrible to her, to punish her, and to constantly remind her that she wasn’t her real child and belittle her. As soon as she treated an innocent child that way, she was no longer just a victim
