Err…. Have you forgot, he doesn’t age and he definitely doesn’t think of her as his child nor anything related to paternal emotion but think of her as something like a power booster. I think the male lead sees her as an “individual”.
I’m not justifying the age gap, I’m actually questioning it in this story because the author used the state “child” to make the people pity the MC so nope but I’m sharing wthe reason why they can be possible too.
Like the “the master/teacher is a which” manhua (I can’t remember the full title) the fL is an undying which and raised the ML, but she didn’t thought of him as his child but an individual, a person a friend and that’s it. And they started the romance when the boy was already a MAN not a child.
I think, the reason some older ‘teacher’, ‘master’ in manhua’s can accept their ‘younger’ friend’ is that, THEY NEVER VIEW THEM AS THEIR OWN CHILD and the one they’re having relationship is a grown person.
