   i think her mother have same power so my theory is that why his father murder the harpoonist is that they found that his wife have that kind of power and they felt that power is threatening them and so they planned to kill their mother but their father protected her and betrayed the busan union and escape with her wife and live far away from them so lita recieve the power and it just awaken when that monster tried to turn lita to one of them
