       That was the plan though, she was gonna “abandon/kill” him either way to follow the main story line so he would get stronger, when he didn’t follow the plot she abandoned him with all the supplies he would need to live a good life. Villains do not have the mercy of giving people supplies. In a way she didn’t really abandon him, if she had she would have left him with nothing.

          Lol. Abandon him yes but not kill him. Remember, she took the villains’position and follow the flow of the story.
          The flow is, he was abandoned, he came back and kill his master right. Then now that that position as the villain was taken by ML, what do you think will happen to her?

          The difference between the old villain aka the first master who used and abandoned him, is that FL’s actions is seen by the ML as help instead of using him. But at the end, she abandoned him and tried to kill him. He traveled to go back just to ask her a question for a closure, he deserve explanation. And the answer he got is the bad handling of FL about ML’s situation, and she keeps discarding him and replacing him. He was betrayed by the MC and many readers can clearly saw this.

    “Why Axel changed” girl are you for real? You may have sent him on the same tasks as the novel but you always made sure he was prepared and left him clues. He literally had such complete faith in ‘Adrien’, that when you tried to ‘kill’ him he just let you. Then you abandoned him. And every time he tried to talk to you or even just assist you after that, you did everything in your power to deny him. Why he changed? Guess we’ll never know.
