This is a very frustrating read. I kept on reading because maybe the story will actually show me why Elia getting back together with Raymond is a good idea.. but alas, doesn’t seem like it ?
Raymond and Elia really shouldn’t end up together. I know that the story kept mentioning about how he’s changed.. but he really hasn’t. When he was married to Elia, all he could think about was Rizelle. So much so to the point he neglected and became very indifferent to Elia.
Now, eventho he is not together with Rizelle, he’s still doing the same thing to her. Now that he has lost Elia, all he thinks about is Elia, to the point he became very indifferent and cold to Rizelle. Just the same way he treated Elia
To add on… Elia became a better person AFTER the divorce.. when she’s not with him anymore. Raymond also accepts and acknowledges this fact. But he still wants her to come back to him. Back to him who stunted her growth and stopped her from becoming the best person that she is ? sometimes, when you love someone, you have to let them go.
I know that Elia still have some lingering feelings for Raymond(as evident with all the dreams and blushes) but I genuinely believe that she shouldn’t go back to him. Elia’s father, Duke Croft mentioned that if Elia were to have a child with Raymon, then Edmund would have to fight Carlise for the throne. The very REASON why Elia gave birth in private, why the emperor supposedly was supposed to have only one empress, the reason Elia left in the first place, was to ensure that no bloody battles between heirs would happen(and yes, I know that Edmund is not the emperor’s kid. But the rest of the people in the story don’t. To them, Edmund is just as legitimate). I know that right now, she’s pushing Raymond away, she’s trying her best to reject him, and that Raymond is the one pushing forward… I didn’t read the spoilers for what comes after this chapter but, I’ve seen enough of this trope in animes/mangas to know where this’ll lead, it’s the starting point for them to start a new relationship ?
Also, I saw spoilers on how Raymond is the ML… To this, all I have to say is, title name: I won’t accept your regrets, also Elia, accepts his regrets and got back together with him.
I think with this rant, I am finally able to let go of this manga/manhwa/manhua(whatever you call it)

I also don’t like the ML but it’s not a reason not to continue reading at least the FL in this is the best unlike other FL that will fall in any handsome men(those possessed shit FL) even that men kill the possessed body in the story

I won’t say anything bad about ML he caught me off guard I thought that the other supporting character will show up but not
