   Their time line is when Korea is still poor from the war. Maybe the mother is not educated and only lives simply. All she knew is to protect her child. Also she was shaken from what is happening and she has a fever that might have made her muddle headed. She also didn’t know if her child is alive or might be standing there but dead since she was at the back, she can’t possibly see that he was not really wounded even by bullets.
